About LocalStack

LocalStack is an independent local-business directory. Our goal is to give people searching for a local service an honest set of options — including providers who don't buy placements, advertise heavily, or work the SEO game.

How we list businesses

We identify providers from publicly available sources: Google Business Profile, state licensing directories (e.g., Arizona ROC, Texas TDLR), business websites, and Yelp. We do not verify licensing or insurance, and we do not guarantee service quality. Every listing carries an explicit note telling readers to verify credentials and read current reviews before signing.

What we will not do

• Sell top positions in the organic directory results.
• Fabricate reviews, ratings, or testimonials.
• Claim to verify credentials we haven't verified.
• Make up lead volume claims we can't substantiate.

How we make money

Two ways, both transparent and disclosed on each listing:

• Per-lead billing: a business pays us only when we route a qualified inquiry to them. Rates are disclosed on the for-businesses page.
• Flat monthly placement: a business pays for explicit featured placement at the top of a directory page. This is clearly labeled "Featured" in the listing.

We do not run ads on the directory pages. There are no display ads or sponsored placements masquerading as organic results.
